Scott Donaldson
Instructor, 40-Hour Domestic Mediation Training
Instructor, Courtroom Evidence I & II

With over 18 years of domestic relations legal practice experience, eight years as a judge on Court of Civil Appeals (Domestic Relations Appellate Court), and 10 years experience as a Circuit Judge, Scott Donaldson has extensive experience in mediation of domestic relations cases. In addition, he has taught at numerous Alabama circuit/district and probate judge conferences and new judge orientation sessions as well as several 15 week-long courses for the National Judicial College and for 11 state judicial associations. This is also his 31st semester teaching as adjunct faculty at the University of Alabama School of Law. 

Scott joined Alabama Mediation Training as an Instructor for its 40-hour domestic mediation training course in 2021.

Cooper Shattuck
Instructor, 20-Hour Civil Mediation Training & 40-Hour Domestic Mediation Training

Cooper Shattuck has been a registered mediator since 1998 and has extensive negotiation and mediation experience. In addition to this 30 years' practice experience in state and federal courts handling many complex litigation matters, he served as Adjunct Professor at the University of Alabama School of Law for over 14 years, teaching classes including Alternative Dispute Resolution and Negotiations. he has also completed the Harvard Program on Negotiation's Executive Training Program and has served on the Alabama Supreme Court Commission on Dispute Resolution for eight years. He is also a frequent CLE speaker. In addition to his own law practice, he co-founded Cartography Consulting in 2017, providing marketing solutions and consulting services to lawyers and law firms. 

Cooper created Alabama Mediation Training in 2019 and serves as an Instructor for its 20-hour civil mediation training and 40-hour domestic mediation training courses.
