Cooper Shattuck
Alabama Mediation Training Founder & Instructor
Cooper Shattuck has been a registered mediator since 1998 and has extensive negotiation and mediation experience. In addition to his 35 years of practice experience in state and federal courts handling many complex litigation matters, he served as Adjunct Professor at the University of Alabama School of Law for over 14 years, teaching classes including Alternative Dispute Resolution and Negotiations. He has also completed the Harvard Program on Negotiation's Executive Training Program and has served on the Alabama Supreme Court Commission on Dispute Resolution for over 12 years. He is also a frequent CLE speaker. In addition to his own law practice, he co-founded Cartography Consulting, providing marketing solutions and consulting services to lawyers and law firms.
Cooper created Alabama Mediation Training and serves as principal instructor for the 20-hour civil mediation training, 40-hour domestic mediation training, negotiation, domestic violence, and advanced mediation courses.
